Just like her enemies in the opposition, GMA is one craphole of a LIAR.
All of their kinds in fact, since it's becoming a prerequisite of the homo sapiens-reptilia specie, popularly known as the Pinoy Politician.
Even before this recent ruckus, she already lied to us all.

Let me refresh your dorky, selective memory...

Flashback: December 30, 2002
It was Jose Rizal's death anniversary.
Drums and bugle corps filled the Luneta grounds and in a classic showing of moro-moro, GMA declared to the public and to the ghost of Jose Rizal that she will not run for the then-coming presidential elections of 2004. People were sentimental & proud. Here is the kind of leader, who is free from the taints of power lust. That was good. People needed someone new(someone new literally; a leader that is not coming from that corrupt showbiz sector nor a corrupt military man nor a charismatic holier-than-thou, you i**ot!) who knows the system well, idealistic, and strict with the principles to lead us.

Surprisingly in the first quarter of 2003, GMA automatically reversed her decision and retracted her promise. The people needed her, she said. But who are these people? Her husband? Her family? Her clan? Her friends? You do not need to think about your ABCDs here to know the reason.

All in all, it was really a shameful act to Jose Rizal's ghost and to the Filipino people.

From that point, I know she's not the kind of leader that I want to administer & govern the country. Today, the public needs to know the truth but we must not forget that those 2 scoundrel sides at war with each other--- the administration and the opposition are just hungry for power.

But we, law-abiding citizens & honest taxpayers must remain vigilant with the things and events that are happening to our pathetic republic. Let us stand by the Philippine Constitution. Our country is failing because we're not following the rules that we created and sworn to obey.

This country is so divided than before and when the Rule of Law fails with or without her trial, with or without her resignation, with or without the emergence of the suspicious Transition Government that is equally dangerous as the Marcosian Government; I smell the inevitable clash between rightists, leftists, civil societies, & mob groups to sieze the temporary opportunity. Civil War and anarchy might loom in the horizon if hot heads prevail over the cooler heads.

Let us hope and pray that my prognosis is wrong.
